Therapy for
Couples
Relationships can be a source of deep connection and, at times, real strain. I work with couples to slow down painful patterns, understand what is underneath the conflict, and talk with each other in new ways.
How I work with couples
My work with couples is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an approach grounded in attachment science. EFT sees relationship distress as a sign that deeper needs for closeness, safety and feeling valued are not being met, not as a lack of love or effort. Together we look at the cycle that keeps playing out between you, such as one partner pursuing while the other pulls back, what each of you feels underneath it, and how to reach for each other in new ways. Sessions are collaborative and paced so both partners have room to be heard.
What we can work on

Conflict and Repeating Patterns
Understanding the cycles that keep showing up and what drives them.
Trust and Connection
Rebuilding closeness after distance, disconnection or hurt.
Life Transitions
Navigating change together, including becoming parents, career shifts and loss.
